Teleconference Instructions

The workshops we offer long distance are all done over the phone via conference call. We have compiled some frequently asked questions about this service below.

How Do I Register?
Call our office at 808-323-9699 or the Clairvoyant Center of Hawaii's office at 808-322-7673 and tell whomever answers the phone which of the current offerings you would like to register for.  All of our staff is trained to know of our current events, so please do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have. It is ideal to reserve your space at least one-week prior to the event in which you'd like to attend, but we do accept registration for up to an hour before the event on the Magic Isle line.

How Do I Call In?
Once you have paid for the event, you will receive the telephone information needed to join us.  You dial a normal phone number to connect to our conference.  Regular phone rates apply, so please check with your phone carrier for pricing.  This will simply be a long distance call.  No other charges are attached to the dialing the number.

Once you have dialed the number, you will be prompted to enter an access code.  This code will be given to you with your phone number. Enter it followed by the # sign. Then poof! you are magically transported in!

If You Get Disconnected:
Technology can be a strange beast, and for whatever reason, the line goes dead sometimes.
Redialing the number and following the same set of instructions above should reconnect you.

During Your Call:
You may press 1 at any time during the call if you wish to ask a question or communicate. This will "raise your hand" in the conference line.

When attending a conference call, it is best to find a quiet place where you can be alone, uninterrupted for the duration of the event.

Barking dogs, fighting cats, jackhammers, and noisy neighbors are part of most everyones lives.  Usually, these noises get louder when we are doing something we wish to concentrate on. (Of course!) If this is to happen during the event, please place your phone on mute.  You may feel free to change locations during the event as well.  Please just be mindful of the outside interference which may occasionally come through your phone line.

Tuition:
The tuition for our courses is per person, not per phone line, so if someone else you know is interested in attending an event with us, please have them give us a call to register.

Keeping Your Long Distance Bill reasonable:

In this day and age, there are many choices to make your long distance calling affordable.  Here are some choices:

Vonage- They offer digital service with unlimited long distance for around $20.  Many phone companies are also offering competitive packages for unlimited long distance now as well.

Phone Cards- These can be found easily, and can keep costs down to about 2cents per minute.

Skype- This service provides free calling through your computer!

Cell Phones- Many plans have unlimited long distance, with free weekends.  Take advantage of this if you have it!

There are probably more options out there.  If you look, you can find some amazing deals on calling these days.

Questions or Comments?
Please write us at magicis@magicisle.com with any and all questions and comments, whether it be about the event you just attended, or even with suggestions for other events.  We welcome all of your communication.  Please note, that it may take a day or so to get back with you.  If your question goes unanswered, please feel free to call us at 808-323-9699 or resend your email.
